Question: I have been told that I need to strengthen my plantar fascia?

Strengthening your plantar fascia won’t help with your plantar fasciitis.  The plantar fascia is not a muscle, it won’t get stronger if you do strengthening exercises to it.  It will get irritated and the foot and heel pain will continue.

You need to do tissue specific exercises for the plantar fascia but not strengthening.
